1. What this notice covers
This notice explains how SHAX handles information submitted through the website, qualification assessment, applications, checkout, courses and private member area. It is written in plain language and should be read with the Terms and Conditions.
2. Information we receive
Depending on how you use SHAX, this may include your name, email address, WhatsApp number, assessment answers, application notes, payment and access records, course progress, support messages and information you choose to add to your member area.
3. Security and abuse prevention
When an application or assessment is submitted, SHAX may record technical request information such as an IP address, approximate country, region or city, browser details and submission time. This is restricted to authorised administrators and is used for security, fraud and abuse investigation. It is not used to rank applicants and is not used to infer sensitive personal characteristics.
4. How we use information
We use information to review applications, provide the course or mentorship service, manage access, deliver operational emails, respond to support requests, protect the platform and understand whether the service is working. We do not promise that automated systems will make decisions about your application; any fit score is an explainable aid for human review.
5. Service providers
SHAX uses specialist providers where needed to operate the service, such as Supabase for database, authentication and storage, Vercel for hosting, Resend for transactional email, Stripe or PayPal for payments, Bunny Stream for course video and a booking provider for appointments. They receive only the information needed for their role and operate under their own terms and privacy notices.
6. Retention and your choices
We keep information only for as long as it is reasonably needed for the purpose it was collected, account administration, security, dispute handling or legal obligations. You may ask about the information held about you, request correction, or ask for deletion where applicable. Some records may need to be retained for legitimate security, accounting or legal reasons.
7. Contact
For a privacy question or request, use the support route shown in your member area or the contact method supplied during your application. Please do not send passwords, payment card details, Amazon credentials or API secrets.
8. Updates
We may update this notice when the platform or its providers change. The current version and its update date will remain available on this page.
